What is the difference between SDE, FDE and Documentary Video?

Same Day Edit (SDE) condenses the crucial moments (gatecrash, tea ceremony, solemnisation) from the morning, highlighting the key events to share with guests during the lunch or dinner banquet on the same day.

Full Day Edit (FDE) is a complete capture of significant moments from the entire wedding day itself. Usually, this begins from the morning preparations all the way to the couple's speech at the banquet. However, this comprehensive edit is only delivered after the wedding day has concluded.

The Documentary Video is a compilation of all the noteworthy footage captured on your wedding day, woven together by sequence of events into a single video. This is a specialty of OurWeddingStory as we finesse every shot, and one can still expect an enjoyable watch which includes the unedited gatecrash, solemnisation ceremony, tea ceremony, speeches, and more. While the length of the video varies from couple to couple, a general estimates it to be about an hour, or sometimes more.

How is the length of my wedding videos?

The Same Day Edit (SDE) usually lasts from 3 to 5 minutes, while the Full Day Edit (FDE) will often be between 5 to 10 minutes. The overall length of the video is influenced by the agenda and activities scheduled for your wedding day.

Can we hire you and Jeffery independently?

Yes. Although we collaborate extensively, we are independent creatives who take care of cinematography (Aloysius) and photography (Jeffery) separately. Our extensive partnerships have made us very comfortable with each other's working styles, and we complement each other's work very well. Because we both believe that weddings are intimate occasions, operating as a duo has enabled us to maintain that personal atmosphere.

Do you have backup equipment?

We consistently utilise multiple cameras on your wedding day. Additionally, we will always have an extra camera on standby.

Do you back up your photographs and videos?

Upon the conclusion of your wedding, we immediately duplicate the entire collection on our external hard drive, ensuring the safe archival of your irreplaceable photos and footage. You can rest assured that your memories are securely stored with additional copies for extra peace of mind.

When will my photos and videos be ready?

Couples can expect deliverables to be provided within 30 working days for both actual day and pre-wedding requests.

Yes, we do accept all major credit cards (with additional surcharge).
