The story
I started this one a little later in the morning at The Fullerton Hotel. Silas and Qian Hui were already in the room, and for a while it felt calm and smooth.
Then came the plot twist: the veil was missing from the gown set. For a few minutes, the room shifted into full panic mode. I could feel the stress instantly because everyone started checking every bag at once. Thankfully, the gown vendor managed to send a replacement in time, and you could feel everyone breathe again.
Once the veil issue was solved, the day reopened beautifully. I brought them out for couple portraits around Fullerton and near Monti. The light started soft and flattering, then gradually turned harsher, so we moved quickly and leaned into the textures of the city.
Their solemnisation was held at The Deck at Monti, with Marina Bay Sands sitting right behind them. It was one of those settings that already feels cinematic before anyone says a word.
By lunch, the celebration energy was in full swing. Friends took turns to sing and perform, and the room stayed lively all the way through. Then came their first dance, soft, sweet, and quietly romantic in the middle of all the noise.
Looking back, this felt like a real wedding story arc: a shaky opening, a beautiful middle, and a joyful ending.
