The story

I still remember stepping into the bridal suite at Four Seasons Hotel in Orchard and seeing the morning sun cut across the room. The light gave me a beautiful silhouette straight away, and I knew this day would look special on film.

While makeup was happening, Mei En was quietly writing her vows and speech cards for later. I love filming this part. It always feels like reading a private page from someone’s heart. Soon after, we moved into veiling. This is where I usually ask the parents if they want to share blessings or marriage advice, and those words often become the part couples remember most.

When Joshua came to pick her up, the mood shifted from quiet to excited. I followed them to Barker Road Methodist Church, and we did a short portrait session around the church before the ceremony started. Because they chose a Full Day Edit, I did not have to rush for same day turnaround, so I could stay fully present and follow the day naturally.

After church, we headed back for the lunch banquet. One of my favourite moments was their march in with pets in balloon form since actual pets were not allowed in the hotel. I still remember people laughing and pointing the moment the balloons came in. It was playful, sweet, and so true to them.

We closed the day with heartfelt speeches, then tea ceremony later because the morning schedule was tight. By the end, it felt like a complete story from first light to final emotion.
